What we recover

Four pathways into financial loss — one disciplined response

Each fraud type leaves a different evidentiary trail. Our case teams are organised by route of loss so the right specialists triage your file from day one.

Forex & CFD broker fraud

Slipped margin, blocked withdrawals, fabricated trade history and offshore "regulators" — we map the corporate trail back to the recoverable counterparty.

Crypto fund recovery

Blockchain forensics, exchange subpoena drafting and mixer detection. We translate on-chain movement into a complaint a regulated venue can act on.

Binary options claims

Almost every binary-options platform takes deposits via card or bank transfer. We rebuild the payment chain and prepare the chargeback or recall packet.

Romance & pig-butchering

Long-form social-engineering scams almost always end on a "trading" platform. We treat the romance angle with discretion and the funds angle with rigour.

The PRG method

Five steps. No surprises.

Our process is deliberately slow at the start, fast in the middle, and finishes with a written closure note — whether or not funds were recovered.

Intake call

A 45-minute, confidential conversation with a senior case analyst. No pitching, no scripts. We either accept a file or refer you elsewhere.

Evidence collation

You upload payment receipts, communications and platform screenshots to a secure folder. We complete the open-source side.

Investigation report

A fixed-fee written report identifies the counterparty, the route of loss, and the recovery instruments with the highest probability of success.

Fieldwork

Chargeback dossier drafting, regulator notifications, exchange subpoena coordination and direct correspondence with acquiring banks.

Outcome & closure

Funds are released to your nominated account. You receive a closure pack so any future advisor can pick up the same paper trail without rework.

Why this works

Recovery is forensic accounting, not promises

Most lost funds never leave the regulated financial system — they merely change hands inside it. The job of a serious recovery firm is to reconstruct that movement clearly enough that the institutions still holding the money have to take a position.

  • We submit chargeback packets that meet the actual card scheme reason-code criteria.
  • We file SAR-equivalent notices with the right financial-intelligence unit, not a generic email.
  • We pair every blockchain trace with a court-ready chain-of-custody declaration.
  • We tell you, in plain English, when a claim has no realistic route — and we say so before you pay.

People who got their money back — and people who did not

We publish both. A reputable recovery firm shows you the messy middle, not a wall of five-star praise.

The investigation report alone clarified what had happened to me. I thought I had been stupid; what I had actually been was systematically targeted. They recovered £18,400 of the £24,000.

I lost crypto to a fake "wealth manager" introduced through Instagram. PRG traced the wallet to a Tier-2 exchange and arranged the freeze within seven weeks.

They told me at intake that my case was probably unrecoverable because of how I had paid. I appreciated the honesty and chose not to spend further. That conversation alone was worth the call.

FAQ

Honest answers to the questions that keep you up at night

How long does a recovery case usually take?
Most cases close between 8 and 22 weeks. The biggest driver of the timeline is not us — it is the responsiveness of receiving institutions, the cooperation of overseas regulators, and whether the funds have already moved through a mixer or shell entity.
Do you charge upfront fees?
There is a fixed intake fee for the written investigation report, which you see in plain English before any signature. Fieldwork is then quoted with a clear blend of fixed retainer and success component. There are no surprise hourly rates.
Which scam types do you cover?
Unregulated forex and CFD brokers, fraudulent crypto exchanges and wallet drainers, binary-options platforms, romance and "pig-butchering" investment schemes, fake ICOs, fake property syndicates, and bogus high-yield investment programmes.
Can you guarantee a recovery?
No. Any firm that does is, by definition, mis-selling. Recovery depends on payment rails, jurisdiction, the receiving institution and the speed of your reporting. What we guarantee is the quality and honesty of the evidence work.
Is my information kept confidential?
Case files sit on a UK-hosted environment with role-based access. Only the assigned analyst, the senior reviewer and the closing partner see your records. We never sell, share or syndicate client data.
How do I know PRG itself is not a scam?
We are registered at Companies House under number 14628097. You can verify our directors, filings and registered office. Our intake report is fixed-fee and contractual, so you can audit what you paid for. We provide written references from closed matters on request.
What if my case is too small to be commercial?
Files under approximately £3,000 are rarely commercial for full fieldwork. In those situations, we still offer a 30-minute consult and point you towards the right self-service channels — your bank's dispute desk, the FOS, Action Fraud, or your card scheme's chargeback portal.

Tell us what happened. We tell you whether a recovery is realistic. You decide what to do with that information.
